Ambi, Ristorante Pasta Fresca

Upon entering Ambi, you need to expect the unexpected. At first, the space seems to be a quaint coffee shop, but as you move to the back of the restaurant, you’ll see a set of stairs.

Once you enter the lower level, you will see 3 parallel fans sway back and forth. The uniformity is a visual sight which moves the eye to see a beautiul plethora.

Step down below to the bottom basement and you will enter a spectvular basement with rich history.  Vaulted ceilings and crossed stone arches sit above patrons as they dine on the finest Italian cuisine.  The back of the restaurant features a fresco of a family enjoying delicious pasta.

The space was orginally a horse stable that was built 500 years ago. The street entrance used to lie at the back if the restauarant Which was blocked in recent years.

Ambi is home to some of the most delicious cheeses in Prague.

Walls are decorated with black and  white photographs and bottles of wine. Noodles hang on the wall for interesting conversation. The environment is festive and lively. Families, singles and friends converse about great times and delicious food.
