David Burke
Artist, chef, innovator—David Burke brings modern American cuisine to the bright lights of Sin City with a restaurant aptly named David Burke. A dramatic ambiance, incredible presentation, and an exquisite menu make this the perfect addition to the Venetian’s prestigious collection of restaurants.
Modern lines, bold statement pieces, and intriguing décor create a setting that stimulates the senses and manages to add to the experience without upstaging the incredibly delectable food. Red hues coupled with strategic lighting balance out Burke’s creative flair with a pleasing flow and balance.
Whether on an intimate dinner for two, or hanging with a group of friends, you are guaranteed an entertaining experience with the unique food presentation and the restaurant’s numerous conversation pieces.
A water feature trickling from the ceiling onto a beautifully crafted hand-blown glass sculpture is the centerpiece in the main dining area.
We started off with the Kobe Beef Carpaccio. The pickled onions, parmigiano-reggiano, and extra-virgin olive oil all showcased the red meat in an unexpectedly refreshing way. It was the perfect dish to begin with and definitely set the bar high for what was to come.
A signature item of David Burke, The Crisp & Angry Lobster “Cocktail” , was presented in a way that was almost as entertaining as it tasted. The juicy tail was served with crisp basil and a lemon-chili sauce.
The Roasted Red Snapper was cooked to perfection as the flavors of the roasted tomato, asparagus, shiitake mushrooms, and a 25-year balsamic vinegar complemented the dish magnificently.
The delectably whimsical Cheesecake Lollipop Tree was a great way to end the experience. Served in three flavors and a bubblegum whipped cream, the portion proved sound for our full stomachs.
The restaurant includes a bar and lounge, with seating for 50; a main dining room, with seating for 250; and space for up to 100 guests in the private banquet facilities.
